Erica Turner is a trend setting stylist, instructor, author and platform artist with over 16 years of experience, who has served as a judge for various Hair Shows and a 2017 Hair Stylist of the year Nominee for The Hair Choppas Awards in Houston Texas! 

 

Because of her diverse and creative training in the Hair and Beauty industry she has developed and mastered her own techniques with Natural Hair Styling, Silk Press, Hair Extensions and Cosmetology Education.

As A dynamic and innovative educator she attended Beauty College of America in Forest Park, Ga for her Diploma in Cosmetology and Shearz Institute in Lithia Springs, Ga for her Cosmetology Educator License.

Erica is a respected business owner who's worked with celebrities and stylist and has become one of the most influential educators in the barber and beauty industry. As of today she not only educates, but behind the chair she specializes in Silk Press, Braids, Healthy Natural Hair Styling, and Extensions. Erica is the founder and owner of Press BlowDry Bar & Professional Beauty Academy.

She was born and raised in Alabama. She graduated in 2008 with honors from Southern Union State Community College in Cosmetology Science and Art. She has 17 Professional years as a Master Cosmetologist, including being a former salon business owner. She has experienced many rewarding opportunities in the beauty industry. Being a respected stylist, she has been connected to meeting producers that bring their clients to the salon that gained her to style hair on the sets of video and photoshoots with local emerging and established artists. She enjoys having a Diverse clientele and getting to know their personality and lifestyle to create a look to make them feel good about themselves. Her specialty services are Relaxers, Bouncy blowouts, Silk presses,men and women Haircuts, Quickweaves and personalizing treatments to achieve healthier hair. It is satisfying  to her to have a good challenge, whether it's a great haircut or a fabulous color makeover. Being Versatile and Creative in styles is her favorite thing to do for you!
